When is Dhanteras 2020: History, significance, rituals and stories and all you need to know

This year Dhanteras will be celebrated on 13th November 2020. Dhanteras is Sanskrit words. Dhan means wealth and Teras means the thirteenth day of the cycle of the moon. Dhanteras is observed two days before Diwali. It is important to note that devotees are advised to wear gold-coloured clothes on this day or anything which is bright in colour. Diwali 2020 is a five-day festival that starts off from Dhanteras. It is also called as Dhantrayodashi. This auspicious festival is observed to celebrate wealth and prosperity.
